The non-resident High Commissioner for Malta to Malaysia, Prof. Dr Rizzo Naudi, is on a six-day visit to Malaysia.
In conjunction with the country's 50th year of independence, Dr Naudi will be visiting the Batu Gajah Hospital where he planted a tree in 1957 to celebrate the country's independence. He was then serving as the hospital's medical officer.
Dr Naudi served from 1953 to 1962 at the Sungai Buloh Leper Hospital before moving to the Batu Gajah Hospital.
