Another 37 Bank of Valletta cardholders have won with the “BOV Streets Alive” shopping lottery, whose draw was held on 13 August. Bank of Valletta cardholders who, during the period 20 July to 13 August, shopped or dined in Valletta and paid with their BOV card became automatically eligible to participate in the draw. The winners won back the amount they spent up to a maximum of Lm25/EUR58.23.
This was the second of three lottery draws by Bank of Valletta to coincide with the BOV Streets Alive activities currently under way in Valletta. The final draw, which will take place on 29 August, will also see three Valletta merchants drawn as winners of a travel package for two persons to a holiday destination of their choice.
John Pollacco, head of card services at BOV, highlighted the bank’s ongoing efforts to find ways to add value to both cardholders and business customers. “Apart from promoting cards as a straightforward and efficient payment method, the BOV Streets Alive Shopping Lottery is yet another initiative we are taking to reward customer loyalty,” said Mr. Pollacco. “Furthermore, it continues to underline Bank of Valletta’s involvement in the community and its support to the generation of business within our capital city, Valletta,” he added.
