In an effort to reflect the winery’s forward-looking strategy, Camilleri Wines are announcing the launch of a new logo for the winery.
“The new logo is another concrete step in our broader strategy for the winery, a strategy that seeks to retain Camilleri Wines as a company that is constantly looking ahead through consistent diversification and the presentation of avant-garde wines both in terms of quality as well as image,” explains Claudio Camilleri, Head of Sales and Marketing of master group, the winery’s holding company.
“In this new image, we see a winery that is not bound by the traditional and formal attributes that the public usually associates wine with but a fresh forward-looking winery that was never afraid to take bold strategic decisions both in the development and the branding aspects of our wines. This trait has always defined Camilleri Wines from its competitors,” said Claudio Camilleri.
Formally set up in 2000, Camilleri Wines has become the third largest winery in Malta. To date, the company boasts a generous portfolio of six brands namely Laurenti, Palatino, La Croce, Blush Rosè, and the recently launched brands Dolce Vita and gwl, the wine produced from Gozitan grapes. Together, these brands amount to 16 different wines all produced from grapes grown and harvested in Malta.
Compared to the previous blue crest of the Camilleri family coat of arms, an image in itself imbued with tradition and history, our new logo has a straightforward, minimalist and modern feel that is incisive as our strategy. It is direct, very straightforward but also very friendly – three characteristics that mirror our general approach to business” concluded Mr Camilleri.
