Sixty BOV cardholders struck it lucky this summer when paying for their shopping using a BOV card. They won with BOV’s Shop and Win lottery, held in conjunction with four local supermarkets – Pavi, Smart, Park Towers and Chain.

Shopping vouchers worth Lm50 were presented to the winners by John Pace, manager at Bank of Valletta’s Cards Services.

“Paying with a BOV card has many advantages,” said Mr Pace while congratulating the winners. “It is a straightforward and efficient way to pay and different cards offer different benefits such as purchase protection insurance and the convenience of not having to write cheques or having to carry large amounts of cash,” he added.

Mr Pace said that the Shop and Win lottery forms part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to provide customers with added value, while encouraging the use of BOV cards as a preferred method of payment. “Through such promotions, BOV cardholders are encouraged to continue to experience the convenience of the BOV cards, which are now accepted by all major retail outlets in Malta and Gozo,” concluded Mr Pace.
