Agenda Bookshop Offers post-secondary students an easy way to purchase textbooks

Malta Independent Friday, 7 September 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Following the success of Agenda Textbooks for primary and secondary levels, Agenda Bookshop is now offering easy facilities and great rewards for all Higher Education students wishing to purchase their textbooks for the forthcoming scholastic year.

Students attending various post-secondary institutions including Junior College, St. Aloysius, Giovanni Curmi – Naxxar and MCAST, can request the book list for the subjects they have chosen by either filling in the leaflet which has been distributed during registration week and when picking up their smart card; if they do not have a form, they may request to fill one up at any Agenda outlet. Alternatively, they may send an e-mail to [email protected] with their personal details, name of school they are attending and the year and level of the subject taken.

The students will then receive the correct list of titles required for their chosen subject area via email, and within three days of confirmation of their order, they may collect the textbooks from their preferred Agenda Bookshop outlet.

“Higher Ed. students can now not only save time and money on purchasing their textbooks through Agenda Bookshop, but will also receive great gifts on their purchases,” said Rachelle Tabone, Marketing Manager for Agenda Bookshop. “We have the full range of textbooks available and as always the Smart Card is accepted in all our outlets.”

Students who do not yet have the Smart Card may pay by cash or cheque at the Agenda Bookshop and upon activation of the Smart Card, they may take a copy of their receipt together with their Smart Card to the Agenda Junior College outlet for a full refund.

With every purchase of Lm50 or more on textbooks from Agenda Bookshop, Higher Ed. students will receive tokens which are redeemable against great gifts such as quality stationery items, free photocopies, binding services, an Energizer battery charger and others.

Textbooks can be collected from the selected Agenda Bookshop outlets which are located at the Embassy Shopping Complex in Valletta, the Valletta Waterfront, the Plaza Shopping Complex in Sliema, Pavi Supermarket in Qormi, Topline Megastore in St. Andrews, 91, Islets Promenade in Bugibba, and the Junior Collage Campus in Msida.
