Vodafone Launches 3G broadband offer

Vodafone Malta Limited launches a new promotional offer on data with which customers can benefit from a 3G Broadband connection with no download limit at Lm9.99/EUR23.27 monthly. This offer includes a portable Vodafone USB Modem which can be used on one’s laptop or personal computer. Customers who travel benefit from a single roaming rate of Lm 1.50/€3.49 per MB with no set up charge on Vodafone’s preferred networks.

With Vodafone’s data offer ‘Vodafone Liberty’ customers can access the internet and email anywhere at anytime with Vodafone’s ‘plug and play’ USB modem, which is included in the data package of Lm9.99/EUR23.27 monthly. This new version of the 3G broadband data card, designed for users of computers, laptops and Apple MacBooks, allows customers to access 3G broadband by simply plugging it into the USB slot on their computer. Vodafone’s USB modem received the award for ‘Business Innovation of the Year’ at the 2007 Mobile Today Awards.

“With our new data offer we are giving Vodafone customers great value and total mobility,” said Antoine Bartolo, Data Marketing Manager. “At Lm9.99 /EUR23.27 monthly our customers can now benefit from browsing speeds of up to 1.8 M/bits and absolutely no download limit anywhere, anytime, as through the Vodafone USB modem this offer can be used on both PC and laptop.”

“Roaming customers also benefit from great rates when abroad. At Lm1.50 /EUR3.49 per MB and no set up charge on Vodafone preferred networks, our customer benefit from the best roaming tariffs in Malta. Furthermore, customers who reach the Lm64.40 /EUR150 total spent on Data Roaming in the same month will not be paying more than that even if they keep using the service,” concluded Mr Bartolo.
