GO Mobile clients can now keep themselves updated on all the latest news items as well as the weather forecast thanks to new services that are being launched this week. The services are being offered as part of GO Mobile’s ongoing drive to offer the best multimedia facilities and value for money to its clients.

“Many of our clients lead a typically fast lifestyle that makes mobile services of this kind vital for their needs. The news clips are a perfect feature for those who want to keep themselves in the loop even while they’re on the move. They are being offered within the Video On Demand content library and will consist of three daily, local news updates,” GO Mobile’s Business Development manager John Farrugia said.

GO Mobile has also launched a weather forecast service that is accessible through Video On Demand. These video updates cost 10c/EUR0.23.

Another service recently launched is an IVR facility. By dialling 1640 and following the various prompts, one can listen to Lotto and Super 5 results, as well as detailed weather information. SMS messages with the detailed service information will also be sent out. The charge is 5c//EUR0.12.
