The Gozo Theatre Club will be performing four short plays for women, directed at an adults-only audience. They are “Kickass plays” written by award-winning playwright Jane Shepard, whose one-act plays feature a cast of two women, strong roles for actresses, powerful scenes and outstanding monologues.

The plays “Nine” and “Friends of the Deceased” will be performed on Saturday, 22 September and Saturday, 6 October while “Commencing” and “The Last Nickel” will be performed on Saturday, 29 September and Saturday, 13 October at 7.30pm.

The plays will be directed by George Mizzi and will be performed at “Uncle Ted’s Tavern”, il-Girna, Sannat.
