Three persons or institutions will be chosen by an independent adjudicating board, following nominations by the public for the prestigious award, Gieh Ghawdex. Organised by the Circolo Gozitano to award leading personalities and organisations who through their work have given, or are giving, outstanding contributions to the socio-economic and cultural development of Gozo, this annual event is being supported by HSBC for the third consecutive year.

Richard Mercieca, HSBC’s Gozo Area Director said: “HSBC is committed to play a significant role in the social life of Gozo’s community. Supporting Circolo Gozitano’s events helps us do just that.” The awards ceremony will be held at Ta’ Cenc Hotel on 28 October.
