Administration employees and the management of Malta International Airport have supported the Jeans for Genes campaign by reporting for work in jeans and making a donation in aid of children suffering from genetic disorders.
Jeans for Genes is a campaign organised by four major charitable institutions in the UK. The fund-raising event is held annually across the UK on 5 October and the aim this year is to raise £3 million.
The initiative came through a suggestion made by a MIA employee supported by the company’s willingness to implement positive suggestions and comments that are regularly made through MIA’s internal communications structure.
