WasteServ Malta is helping out the Razzett tal-Hbiberija in Marsascala which was the victim recently of a theft of animals and vandal acts.

WasteServ said it has discussed security services to minimise the risk of future theft and vandalism at the park. A surveillance system which covers the Sant’ Antnin plant area and the area for a planned Family Park is already in place and following discussions between the Chief Security Officer for WasteServ and the Business Development Manager for the Razzett Tal-Hbiberija, WasteServ said, the surveillance system will be extended to include the Razzett at WasteServ’s expense.

The Sant’ Antnin Family Park, which will include a walking area, a picnic and recreation area, facilities for the disabled and a garden centre area, is to be situated next to the Razzett.
