Parliament’s Permanent Social Affairs Committee has taken part for the first time at an MPs’ meeting organised by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) at its Paris headquarters.

The meeting was an integral part of discussions on the knowledge economy and dealt with innovation and development. OECD experts analysed the situation and those attending shared ideas and suggestions and asked questions.

The Maltese representatives were led by Labour MP Carmelo Abela.
