Lukan Borg and Simon Gingell Littlejohn are cousins with experience in five star catering and hotel management, and they have now opened Bianco’s. They recently invited members of the press to explain to them the innovative concept behind Bianco’s, which is that it aims to cater for everyone. Whether it is a family outing, friends’ night out, a private function or a quick take out lunch, Bianco’s catering and dedicated staff can meet every individual’s requirements.
Conveniently situated in the heart of St Julian’s, the manager at Bianco’s felt the need for a place where friends and family can dine, have a business meal then head off to the comfortable and sophisticated sofas to relax and continue their meal with an after-dinner drink. Alternatively if people are looking for a place to chill out and have a platter or some wine they can head straight to the stylish chill out area. Hence, came the idea of Bianco’s, a place that can offer anything that the client feels up to. All this is provided under one roof, with spectacular bay views.
Bianco’s is open for lunch and dinner from midday onwards until late from Monday to Sunday. It combines an exclusive and original menu offering Mediterranean grilled foods and a wine lounge. It specializes in fresh Argentinean beef, mouth watering salads and fresh pasta. The menu also consists of a good range of exquisite wines from around the world, complementing an original idea towards platters. For example, Bianco’s sweet platter consists of crepes, nutella, mixed nuts and fresh fruit. The menu offers guidelines as to which wine suits which platter as suggested by Bianco’s renowned local wine consultants.
Take-out options
Lunch time: Offering an extensive range of salads and fresh baguettes. This is ideal for office lunches as there a range of options to choose from, keeping the meal light, healthy and inexpensive. And for the evening, “we’ll make you proud of your choice for dinner”.
VIP area
This area can hold a maximum of 10 persons. It is an exclusive area designed for people who would like to feel special for the night, or have meetings. This area consists of a private room area that offers a special menu according to the clients’ requirements and budget.
