The National Euro Changeover Committee is undertaking the final preparations leading to the commencement of door-to-door distribution of the BOV Converters in the coming days.

The door-to-door distribution of the BOV Converters will be done by Maltapost and will cover over 160,000 households. An educational leaflet with step-by-step instructions on how these useful BOV Converters can be used is also being distributed to every household.

Bank of Valletta, the official NECC Partner Bank, has supplied the Converters.

The BOV Converters are very user-friendly, permitting fast automatic conversions of any Maltese lira amount into euro and vice versa without the need to input the rate of exchange. The BOV Converter is considered an indispensable tool in ensuring the transparency of pricing and ought to be particularly useful in the first weeks following the conversion.
