A 48-year-old woman from San Gwann was yesterday charged with trying to run over two women and a girl with her car.
Grace Sammut pleaded not guilty of trying to run over Lanice Azzopardi, Maxime Felice and a girl, who is still a minor, in Oreste Kirkop Street, San Gwann on 20 September 2006. Magistrate Doreen Clarke presided over the court, while Police Inspector Carmel Abdilla prosecuted and Dr Joseph Giglio acted as defence counsel.
