A 31-year-old man was yesterday found guilty of poisoning and killing a number of cats and was fined Lm1,000, the police said in a statement yesterday.
Magistrate Miriam Hayman found Paul Cauchi, from Zejtun, guilty of cruelty to animals after he added snails’ poison to cat food.
