Judge And magistrate asked to quit sports committees

The Commission for the Administration of Justice yesterday published correspondence in which it asked Mr Justice Carmel Farrugia Sacco and magistrate Antonio Mizzi to quit their roles as president of the Malta Olympic Committee and the Malta Basketball Association respectively.
The two members of the judiciary were informed that as long as they retained their respective posts, they were in breach of the Code of Ethics of the Judiciary.
