Nestlè Malta Ltd. together with Charles Camilleri & Sons Ltd. launched NERO – the latest sumptuous chocolate range from Italy’s Perugina, also renowned producers of Baci. Composed of a range of dark chocolate products, NERO is for those consumers who not only appreciate high-quality products but are also open-minded, curious and willing to let themselves be surprised by the joys that dark chocolate can bring.

The media launch was hosted at TwoTwentyTwo in Valletta during a presentation to media journalists and correspondents. During the launch, details were given about the various products that make up the Nero Perugina range.

“NERO is the perfect answer for all those who love the intense taste of pure dark chocolate and who are after an accessible and original premium brand,” commented Mr Charles Camilleri from Charles Camilleri & Sons Ltd, during a brief introduction to the product.

“NERO is however not only about the excellent tradition of Italian dark chocolate. Besides an increase in the interest towards more knowledge about chocolate, the market is also showing us that more and more consumers are becoming aware of the positive “healthy” attributes associated to dark chocolate. This element, together with the original combination of tastes, textures and shapes of this refined elegant product will be the main factors in the success of our NERO range on the local market” added Mr Camilleri.

“The introduction of NERO in Malta comes at a time when Perugina is this year celebrating 100 years of creative artisan chocolate and a passion for good taste. A century of qualitative excellence and innovation that have established Perugina as a household name not only in Italy but across the world, synonymous with the great Italian tradition of chocolate” concluded Mr Camilleri.
