The 12th May Band of Zebbug will be giving its annual concert on Sunday at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta when it will play a selection of popular ballet music.

“Invitation to the Dance”, as the concert has been called, will be under the patronage of the Minstry of Tourism and Culture and will include a performance by the Olivia Dow School of Russian Ballet.

Excerpts to be played include ‘On the beautiful Blue Danube’, ‘Nutcracker Suite’, ‘Prince Igor’, ‘Invitation to the Dance’, ‘Ritual Fire Dance’, ‘Faust’ and ‘La Gioconda’. Ticket proceeds will be donated to the Dar tal-Providenza.
