The Malta Institute of Management (MIM) will be taking up the presidency of the European Management Association (EMA), following a unanimous decision of the annual assembly of the EMA held last week in Athens. MIM was nominated by the current president, Mary Chapman from the UK’s Chartered Management Institute, and seconded by the EMA’s executive board.
The EMA is a pan-European association of national institutes and organisations concerned with the management profession. Among its main objectives the association has the fundamental aim of fostering collaboration in research on core management issues. It also aspires to forge contacts with other international management organisations. Presently it has members from 14 European countries.
