Malta Independent Friday, 9 November 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 15 years ago

Tomorrow, Skolasport will be holding an open day for the young participants and their families – at Marsa Sports Complex and Cottonera Sports Complex. Parents are invited to participate with their children during the normal class sessions, which are at 9am or 10.30am.

Skolasport, run by the Malta Sports Council and sponsored by Kellogg’s, will give parents an opportunity to get an idea of the foundation and participation programme.

They will be able to see how their children are progressing and at the same time participate in the fun activities. They will also have the opportunity to meet the Skolasport coaches.

Skolasport introduces sports and physical activity to young children through its foundation and participation programme, set to train children between the ages of 4 to 10 years in various sports activities.

Two other open days will be held at the university sports complex on 1 December while the open day at St Benedict’s College will be held on 15 December.
