A Grand Charity Ball sponsored by the Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort and Spa will be held on Friday, 30 November, at the hotel in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund, which helps persons who are in need, patients who require very expensive medicines and relatives who accompany patients who need to go abroad for specialised treatment. All these need not only our moral support but also our financial support.

There are persons, young and old who are deprived from the basic needs because of family problems and there are others who depend on the Malta Community Chest Fund for much needed support. Moreover, there are patients who need to purchase pills that cost hundreds of liri.

The published financial accounts show that the MCCF distributes around Lm700,000 annually. Various activities organised throughout the year are the source that keep the Malta Community Chest Fund assisting those in need.

Tickets for the dinner, costing Lm20 (€ 46.59) each, are available at the offices of the Malta Community Chest Fund, The Palace, Valletta. Dress is black tie.
