Goran Cejkov, another Macedonian to exhibit at Artitude Gallery, in Tigne Street, Sliema, is currently exhibiting his latest series of paintings at the gallery.

The pieces, all painted with oil, capture the essence of the architecture that we find on our islands with a simple yet harmonious effect of solitude. From churches, to alleys, to memorial spots: one can easy name the places captured. Although the paintings initially seem to be photographic representations, one could easily spot the stylization if one looks closer.

The exhibition, which runs until the end of this month, is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 1pm and from 4 to 7pm.
