A 17-year-old, who cannot be named as he is still a minor, was yesterday put on probation for three years for stealing a motorcycle.

The accused, from Valletta, pleaded guilty to stealing a Yamaha 250 worth up to Lm1,000 from Valletta to the detriment of Charles Holmes on 22 November.

The court noted that the accused had already been found guilty of aggravated theft and found the charge of relapsing to be justified as a result.

He was put on probation for three years.
