Nestlé Malta Ltd together with C. Camilleri & Sons Ltd will this coming weekend be celebrating Perugina’s 100 years of excellence in the quality and innovation of chocolate making with the hosting of the Perugina Exhibition Trailer which is being brought purposely from Italy.

The Perugina 100 Years’ Anniversary Trailer has been traveling all around Italy visiting 100 cities promoting the Perugina experience in a nationwide campaign called “100 years, 100 cities”. This experience is now being extended to Malta, where the public entering the trailer will be guided through a multi-sensory experience of the Perugina brand.

The interior of the Perugina trailer in fact contains ten plasma monitors, surround sound, three-dimensional projections, and olfactory effects that communicate Perugina’s art of making chocolate, the brand’s history, the Scuola Del Cioccolato and Perugina’s historic advertising campaigns.

The Perugina Trailer which will be parked in St George’s Square in Valletta opposite the Grandmasters’ Palace, will be the stage for a number of events on Saturday and Sunday. Apart from the exhibition, members of the public can also participate in a number of events which will be held in an adjoining marquee, including a chocolate fountain, a display of the latest Perugina products as well as the creation of a chocolate sculpture by Mr Andrew Farrugia.

The Perugina weekend will also include a Baci Love Message Booth where the public will be invited to enter a love message to any loved one. The most romantic and original love phrase will win a trip for two to Perugia, home of Italy’s most loved chocolate producers, Perugina.

Entrance to the Perugina 100 Years’ Celebration, being held at St George’s Square (in front of the Parliament), Valletta, is free of charge, and the event is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm.
