Playmobil launched its new cafeteria menu, in line with its motto “Eat Well + Play Well = Stay Well”, made up of nutritional and healthy food items that will also contain a fun element for children.

Playmobil’s educational aspect is to give children an opportunity to experience life through play. Their base products continue to be highly popular among children and these are now complemented by indoor and outdoor play areas that will allow them to play and take part in activities within an appropriate environment.

The new cafeteria menu is just the latest development in Playmobil’s efforts to combine education with fun.

Anna Agius from Playmobil Malta said that the inclusion of healthier food options in the menu has been in the pipeline for several years. However the idea was slow to take off mainly owing to a lack of health awareness among children, and especially the parents who accompany them.

Playmobil has employed the services of a professional nutritionist, Claire Copper-

stone who assisted them in preparing a varied menu that contains an ideal balance of ingredients.

This menu contains all the nutritional information about the food being ordered while a separate booklet was also produced that will serve as a guide for parents as to how their children can benefit from healthy eating without taking out the fun.
