Air Malta and Airest (Malta) assisted the Local Breast Care Support Group in raising awareness of the group’s aims and objectives among Air Malta customers. In these last months Air Malta cabin crew distributed pink ribbon pins to passengers and collected donations to assist the Breast Care Group in this noble initiative.
The Local Breast Care Support Group is a non-profit charitable organisation, whose aim is primarily to help and support women who have had, or may be undergoing, breast surgery for medical reasons.
“We are delighted that Air Malta is assisting this campaign. With the support of our customers we are assisting the Local Breast Care Support Group in increasing awareness amongst our customers,” said Brian Bartolo, general manager of marketing and product at Air Malta
Air Malta’s assistance forms part of its ‘Committed to the Community’ initiative that aims to support and encourage local organisations and activities in various sectors, be they cultural, social, philanthropic, humanitarian, environmental, concerning heritage or sport, that help the Maltese Community in some way or another.
