The Board of Directors of Mediterranean Investments Holding (MIH) plc, announced the allotment policy to be applied on the applications of its Maltese Liri and Euro Bonds, which were open for public subscription on 21 November.
As already announced in the media, there has been an overwhelming demand for the bonds, and subscription lists were closed within a few hours of opening.
The Directors decided to adopt an allotment policy of favouring small investors, and accordingly decided to exercise the following allotments:
• Applications for Bonds having a nominal value up to and including Lm2,500 or Euro 5,800 will be met in full;
• Applications for Bonds having a nominal value in excess of Lm2,500 or Euro 5,800 will be met as follows:
The first Lm2,500 or Euro 5,800 - in full
The next Lm2,500 or Euro 5,800 - 40.00 per cent
The remaining balance - 24.17 per cent
Interest on the Bonds will commence as from the date of this announcement. Allotment letters and refunds of unallocated monies will be sent by Wednesday.
