This Christmas why not buy a present knowing that you are also supporting a worthwhile cause and contributing to a much needed local charity. This is the first year that Razzett tal-Hbiberija have produced a stunning official 2008 calendar in conjunction with The Malta Baby & Kids Directory, Progress Press, Box Design and 34U.

All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be donated to the Razzett Tal Hbiberija - one of Malta’s leading local charities that provides free regular quality service to over 1000 individuals with a wide spectrum of physical and intellectual disabilities.

The calendar features 12 beautiful paintings chosen from an amazing 540 paintings entered by Maltese children. Artist Jason Lu was asked to choose one painting from each age to be included in the calendar.

The 12 paintings chosen were by artists John Critien; Neil Gauci; Tristan O. Galea; Miguel Vella; Gabriel Camilleri; Liam Axisa; Christian Castagna; Rachel Cachia; Nicole Calleja; Sharon Rodenas; Francesca Grech and Jeaneve Flores.

The calendar will be launched on Tuesday at Razzett at 4pm. Competition entrants and their families, as well as the general public, are invited to attend and view all the paintings. Calendars will be available for Lm1.50 each from Razzett tal- Hbiberija or on-line at www.restaurantsmalta.com
