The Fiat 500 will be launched in front of a very special audience on Wednesday before the football match between Juventus and Valletta.
This is a great opportunity for the public not only to watch football stars such as Buffon, Del Piero, Trezeguet and Nedved in action, but also be present at the unveiling of the successor of the car that played a very important part in Italy’s history.
The Fiat 500 was first launched 50 years ago, and became an instant success. With over 3,893,294 cars sold, the 500 was the best selling Fiat at that time and helped in no small way in building Italy into a modern industrialised country.
The 500 set not only a benchmark for city automobiles but became an icon for the country and the world.
And now Malta will be also getting a slice of the action, with the arrival of the new, award-winning Car of the Year 2008, the Fiat 500.
The new model will set an example for everyone to follow, as it boasts unrivalled safety levels (the model being the first car of its size to win a 5-star rating in the EURO Ncap ratings), and unbelievable eco-friendly yet potent EURO 5 engines that precede European legislation laws by two years!
An infinite number of trim levels are available to meet everyone’s tastes and styles, and the 500 will have many important extras as standard.
A special ‘guest’ will present the new FIAT 500 before the match, just after a terrific programme put up exclusively for this special night
What better way to start the new year? Happy new car of the year!!
