A 66-year-old year old man was charged with attempting to bribe a driving examiner on 23 August.
Before magistrate Doreen Clarke, Salvatore Grech, from Mqabba, pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.
Police Inspector Angelo Gafa led the prosecution, while Dr Franco Debono and Dr Marion Camilleri appeared for the accused.
