Balkan Property Investments, a Dhalia-led consortium of Maltese investors, hosted a presentation indicating the progress on The Balkan Jewel – a residential development in the idyllic Razlog Valley, near the ski resort of Bansko in Bulgaria.

Over 100 guests attended this event which was hosted at Le Meridien St Julian’s and was followed by a reception. The guests included shareholders of the development company, Dhalia managers, buyers of apartments and other potential buyers invited by Dhalia managers.

In a brief speech, Dhalia Group Business Development director, Chris Grech indicated the progress being made on The Balkan Jewel, together with the help of Dhalia’s strong partners, Vector Management the project managers; AT Engineering, the contractors; Colliers International, the property management and re-letting agents and Unicredit the financiers.

He spoke about the importance of being associated with Colliers International, one of the world’s leading real estate services providers, certainly adds more credibility to the intentions of the consortium to develop a first-class destination. Colliers have assumed responsibility for all aspects of property management, including maintenance of common areas, reception and security services, and general administration of the complex. This means that the end-buyer will benefit greatly from Colliers’ wealth of experience and top quality service. Mr Grech also thanked the buyers for putting their trust in the project, and promised the timely delivery, which is set at November 2008, of a high-end product.

Spread over 7,500 m2 of land, The Balkan Jewel comprises 160 apartments, and includes various amenities namely: restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, mini market, gym, sauna, steam room and underground parking facilities.

The mix of apartments includes studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, most of which enjoy stunning south-facing views of the Pirin Mountains and an 18-hole golf course designed by Ian Woosnam (Ryder Cup captain 2006).
