Vodafone Malta Foundation has supported L-Istrina 2007 with a donation of e9,714.56/Lm4,170.46 in cash and also donated 50 mobile phones that were given out to callers making donations on 29 December.

The donation was presented by Mrs Gemma Mifsud Bonnici, Chairperson of Vodafone Malta Foundation to HE President Edward Fenech Adami.

Mrs Mifsud Bonnici said that L-Istrina deserved the sustained support of the Vodafone Malta Foundation. “This event is not just any other fund-raising event. L-Istrina is the annual event which raises awareness on a national scale about people who are in need and who need a helping hand. Although the Vodafone Malta Foundation helps individual organizations on a day to day basis, we felt we should still participate in this national event.”
