Applications are invited from interested competent persons, to be considered for duties with visiting Foreign Affairs Ministers and members of their delegations, during the forthcoming European Union-Arab League Foreign Ministers meeting, to be held in Malta on 11 and 12 February.

Applicants must be fluent in English, and preference will be given to applicants who are fluent in French and/or Arabic. Eligible candidates will be interviewed and those selected will undergo a one-day training and briefing session. Selected applicants will be required to work long hours, and will be paid an all-inclusive flat rate of e115.

The duties include:

• Acting as liaison officers attached to particular delegations;

• Providing clerical support work during meetings held during the conference;

• Acting as information officers in the designated hotel and at the airport;

• Assisting transport operations;

• Assisting delegations at the airport on arrival and departure;

• Acting as protocol and hospitality officials;
