MSC Fantasia will be the company's first ship to offer an exclusive VIP area, called MSC Yacht Club; a paradise within a paradise.
Consisting of 99 spacious suites (up to 65 sq. metres), plus a bar, solarium, 2 Jacuzzi, a pool with sky dome, this MSC Yacht Club will offer guests their own concierge. An Observation Lounge, at the front where pure glass windows will enable guests to make the most of the amazing views to sea or towards the cities in the ports of call.
In the Observation Lounge there will be relaxation areas, a Wi-Fi zone and a library with books in several languages. A honey coloured onyx marble exhibition table will provide guests with the perfect place to enjoy their daily breakfast. Numerous screens will keep guests informed of the ships route, weather conditions and the visible constellations whilst at sea.
Luxury – an exclusive VIP area, instantly recognised as nothing will be left to chance. For the first time on board a ship, guests will be able to walk on a Swarovski floor. Even the stairs connecting the deck between the Concierge and deck 16 will have steps made from Swarovski crystal, which will be illuminated by LED lights. The flooring of the stairs will be a mosaic of black Saint Laurent and yellow Siena marble. Finally the transparent ceiling will allow guests to enjoy the star-studded sky throughout their cruise.
Butler service – a butler service will operate throughout the VIP area: offering assistance at check-in, overseeing the transport of luggage and unpacking and serving traditional English high tea from 5 pm. In addition the butler will arrange for cigars and wine, liquors and champagne and pre book tables in the restaurants, spa treatments in the Aurea Spa, ad hoc excursions as chosen by the guest and even arrange a private party in cabins.
To achieve a perfect ‘Butler Service’ on board MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida, Giovanni Mautone, Dining Services Manager for MSC Cruises in charge of this service on board both ships – has attended an 8 week course at ‘The International Butler Academy’ in Warnsveld, the Netherlands.
Top Style Elegance – MSC Yacht Club could not be called anything else. The VIP guests on board MSC Fantasia will have all the additional extras of an elegant yacht, a unique opportunity in the world of cruising: oak wood walls, panels decorated in Alcantara. The flooring of the Concierge will be wood parquet with interlaced yellow Siena marble. The interiors will be elegant, refined and detailed accordingly.
