Writing his usual Saturday article on l-orizzont, the Labour Party education secretary Wenzu Mintoff claimed yesterday that a person at present “a prominent minister” in the Gonzi administration had once tried to pass on to him some information regarding Louis Galea and his link to the Awziljarji.
The contact took place, Dr Mintoff added, at the junction of St Julian’s and Paceville, next to a bank.
Dr Mintoff did not name the minister nor were there any reactions from Dr Galea.
He also added that the unnamed minister was very negative about Dr Galea and said that an equally unnamed priest-politician was in agreement with the move to unseat Dr Galea.
