The Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise welcomed the news that Malta will be hosting the European Union-Arab League Foreign Ministers meeting this month.
The pivotal role Malta was playing in terms of politics and diplomacy, it added, should be replicated at the level of business, trade, tourism and investment. It itself was striving to act as a facilitator in this regard with the collaboration of all other key stakeholders through its Internationalisation Desk, it said.
Such high-profile political events were crucial to ensure that Malta remained continually on the international map and played a global role that defied its geographical size, the chamber said.
