And some say today’s young couples are not romantic! University student, Michelle Farrugia Galea has been announced as the winner of the Baci Love Message competition organised by Nestlé Malta as part of its Perugina 100 Years’ Anniversary celebrations.

The winner together with her boyfriend Robert Spiteri, will be spending Valentine’s Day in Perugia, home to Italy’s most loved chocolate producers, Perugina. They will also have the opportunity to visit the Perugina factory and museum.

The Baci Love Message competition was hosted during the Perugina Weekend held in Valletta in December of last year during which the public who visited the Perugina Exhibition Trailer brought purposely from Italy, was also invited to enter a love message to any loved one. The most romantic and original love phrase posted inside the Baci Booth would win a trip for two persons to Perugia.

Presenting the young couple with the tickets and lodging vouchers, a spokesperson for Nestlé Malta congratulated them for their winning message which read Pure as morning dew is the joy that fills my heart when I’m with you and wished them a most romantic stay in Perugia. “We were very glad with the response we experienced for this competition where hundreds of love messages were posted inside the Baci Love Message Booth. It shows that love and the sentiments expressed by Baci are still very much alive in Malta and Gozo”.
