“Dhalia Real Estate Services will be embarking on an internationalisation programme which will see the company strengthening its overseas business network. The company will be focusing its strategies to tap into and gain market share overseas. To achieve this objective the company will be investing in its resources to create the right team.” This was announced by Dhalia’s chairman and chief executive officer, Alan Camilleri during the company’s annual conference held last week at the SAS Radisson Golden Sands Resort.

In his address Mr Camilleri also spoke about what he described as the four core values which will guide Dhalia in the year to come. These included professionalism, performance, market leadership and teamwork.

Mr Camilleri said that each and every individual has to adopt a professional approach as a means to deliver a high quality service. Given the highly competitive market, consultants need to be innovative, motivated and more efficient in order to reach their target objectives. Such a strategy he said will help Dhalia Real Estate Services to become the agency of natural choice to customer.

The conference was also addressed by Chris Grech, Dhalia’s Business Development director, who emphasised on the importance of developing a customer-focused strategy that stems from the company’s commitment to provide value added services which are tailor-made to each individual’s requirements. Mr Grech also spoke about the importance of working as a team to meet the new challenges of the market. He placed particular emphasis on the commitment that each and every consultant must make to exceed customer expectations. He encouraged consultants to invest in their continuous personal and professional development in an effort to be one step ahead of the competition.”

Dhalia’s Operations manager, Nicky Camilleri gave an overview of the company’s performance during 2007 and communicated the plans for 2008, which will see the opening of two new offices. Notwithstanding the challenges ahead, Mr Camilleri reported an increase in Dhalia’s turnover and overall performance in2007.

The annual conference came to an end with the presentation of certificates and awards to Dhalia’s staff in recognition for their efforts and hard work. Prizes were awarded to Dhalia’s top negotiator, Sandra Grech, top manager, Warren Azzopardi and the top letting consultant, Janice Balzan.
