Horace Anastasi, in his capacity as president of the Unjoni ta’ Kompozituri, Kantanti, u Awturi Maltin (UKAM) as affiliated in the Malta Chamber for Small and Medium Enterprises (GRTU), has filed a judicial letter against GO in relation to the latter’s online service for downloading the 17 finalist songs in the Kanzunetta ta’ Malta ghall-Ewropa in the form of polyphonic ring tones without the consent or authorisation of the respective composers and authors of each song.

The judicial letter was signed by Dr Jan-Karl Farrugia.
