A 25-year-old man was yesterday charged with grievously injuring his brother after biting off a piece from his left ear.
Cliffton Cassar, from Zabbar, was charged before Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani of grievously injuring his brother Jurgen Cassar in Zejtun on 28 October at 11.30pm.
Police Inspector Joseph Agius prosecuted, while Dr José Herrera and Dr Veronique Dalli appeared for the accused. Dr Ian Farrugia appeared parte civile for the alleged victim.
