The Nestlé fitness virtual model competition has now entered its second phase as the twelve finalists for this year’s edition have been selected. The selection was immediately followed by a five day photo shoot in 24 locations across Malta and Gozo involving a fashion team headed by professional photographer Alexandra Pace.

The competition, organised by XFM in collaboration with Nestlé Malta and running in its second year is being featured on www.xfmvirtualmodel.com where a selection of photos featuring the twelve finalists is now on-line and XFM listeners will be able to access the site and vote for their favourite model via sms.

Meanwhile, the date for the final fashion event has been confirmed for Friday 28th March at The Corinthia San Gorg. The 12 final models will battle it out with one lucky winner winning a holiday for two including flights, accommodation and transfers to Barcelona as well as the opportunity to be the face of Nestlé Fitness for the rest of 2008.

One lucky voter will also win a weekend break for two at the Corinthia San Gorg including lavish dinner and access to the spa. Closing date for participants to vote for their favourite model is 16 March. The winner of this prize will be announced on the final gala night which includes entertainment from XFM’s Virtual Rockstar 2007 Slur as well as Niki Gravino, Bitterside, Beige, Eve Ransom and the debut of Vieve.

Doors for the final night of the Nestlé Fitness Virtual Model competition at Corninthia San Gorg will open at 8pm. A limited amount of tickets are available for sale from the competition’s dedicated website www.xfmvirtualmodel. com or from www.xfmmalta.com at the price of e20.
