The Malta Sports Council and Mosta Football Club have agreed on the use and development of the ground at Mosta, and the Education Services Directorate and Mtarfa FC on the use and development of sports facilities at Mtarfa secondary school.
Education parliamentary secretary Frans Borg said the government’s policy of partnership with sports associations to develop sports facilities would be beneficial to all, students and the community. Under the agreement with Mosta FC, the government will be investing to modernise the club’s ground and lay artificial turf.
In Mtarfa, as in various other schools, the school’s grounds will see the introduction of a mini pitch with artificial turf, with the help of the Malta Football Association.
