Two market hawkers were separately charged with selling fake products on the Marsaxlokk market.

Alan Debattista, 24, from, Msida, was charged before Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani with selling fake CDs and DVDs on and before 17 December and relapsing.

Anthony Paul Portelli, 37, from Mtarfa, faced similar charges before Magistrate Miriam Hayman which allegedly took place on and before 16 September.

The two men, who were represented by lawyer Roberto Montalto, pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them.
