Fund-raising And Easter events at Bay Street

Today at 5pm, the Bay Street Complex will be hosting the Youth Fellowship who will be selling traditional figolli as part of their fund-raising campaign. Later in the evening, the Word of Life Christian Band will be playing at the Rotunda, with the participation of Nadine Axisa and William Mangion.

On Easter Eve, Bay Street will be hosting its annual Easter Bonnet Parade by the residents of Dar tal-Providenza. This popular and lively event is one greatly anticipated by the Dar tal-Providenza residents, having worked hard to produce the most imaginative headgear possible. This activity will take place at 4.30pm.

It will be followed by the Foot Prints band and at 6pm there will be yet another popular annual event – the Baby Bunny Competition. Photographs of the participants will be posted on the Bay Street website www.baystreet.com.mt the following weekend.

Viewers on both One TV and NET breakfast shows will be asked to SMS their preference during the show. Both stations will give voters a chance of winning a perfume from Franks Perfumery. Those coming in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will win vouchers for e75, e50 and e35 from Terranova Kids.

On Easter Day, the traditional Egg Hunt will be held throughout the afternoon between 3.30pm and 6pm. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be given prizes kindly donated by Perugina.

Musical entertainment on Easter Day afternoon will include a show by Corinne Turner and Rita Pace.
