Agenzija sedqa is appealing for caution and responsibility in Easter activities and parties targeting mainly young people.

Sedqa encourages young people to participate and get involved in healthy leisure alternatives and if they party, they should do so without resorting to substance abuse. One should not look at substance abuse as an important factor in socialising, but as harmful and risky behaviour.

The consumption of illicit drugs or excessive alcohol can lead to incidents such as aggressive behaviour, unwanted sexual relationships, and traffic accidents, among others. Such situations originating from excessive alcohol consumption and binge-drinking can be avoided and prevented. Sedqa also stresses the dangers arising from mixing alcohol with illegal and/or prescribed drugs.

Sedqa also appealed to party organisers to show responsibility towards young people, and to young people themselves to behave responsibly even at private activities.
