Piano Recital at St James Cavalier

The eighth Performers Platform Concert in the series of Valletta Lunchtime Concerts is a piano recital with the participation of Kimberly Terribile. The concert, organised by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts, will take place on Friday, 28 March in the Music Room, St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, in Valletta. Works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Beethoven and Villa Lobos will be played.

Kimberly Terribile started piano lessons at the age of eight under the tutorship of Mrs Charmaine Amodio. She obtained the DipLCM diploma in 2003, the ALCM diploma in 2005, and both the DipABRSM and LLCM diplomas in 2007. She will sit for the FLCM diploma next November. She has won competitions in Malta, and has performed in Beijing and London.

The performance starts at 12.35pm and will last for half an hour. Tickets for EUR2.33 (Lm1) and EUR1.16 (Lm0.50) for children under 12 years of age and senior citizens, can be purchased from the booking office at St. James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, Valletta Tel: 2122 3200 (opening hours 10am to 9pm daily).

The series of Valletta Lunchtime Concerts is organised jointly by St James Centre for Creativity, the Manoel Theatre and the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts. Lunchtime concerts at the church of St.Catherine of Italy are held every Thursday and Sunday while those at the Manoel’s Sala Isuoard are held on Wednesdays. Performers Platform Concerts are held every Friday fortnight in the Music Room, St. James Cavalier, Centre for Creativity in Valletta.
