The Akustika series of unplugged concerts has been covering a mixture of pop, rock, blues songs with a bit of a jazzy feel thrown in for good measure. The third one in the series will again take place at St James Cavalier in the Music Room, on 29 and 30 March at 8pm. Tickets cost €7 and can be obtained from St. James Cavalier in Valletta.

This time round, along with alternative versions of well-known and ground-breaking songs in the history of music, a couple of originals written and arranged by members of the band will be played for the first time. This experiment is being made after the positive feedback received by ¯gha¿agh Haddiema Nsara (¯HN) during Strummin’ Home 6 last September, when original material was performed during the Strummin’ concerts.
