Gasan Donates Yamaha bike to police

Gasan Enterprises Limited have donated a Yamaha FJR 1300P to the Malta Police Force. The purpose-build police bike was presented to Assistant Commissioner Josie Brincat and Inspector Tony Agius. The 145 bhp bike with a shaft drive engine via a five-speed gearbox came with all the necessary police equipment as standard, fitted at the factory.

This includes two forward-facing light beacons, a rear extendable light beacon/mast, two sirens, a public address system, a special solo seat with underseat storage, twin detachable saddle bags, special Police version extended mirrors, heated grips, fire extinguisher location and chrome side guards. Inspector Agius is seen here receiving the bike, registration GVP 320, from Glen Warren, Sales and Marketing Manager of Gasan Enterprises, at the Gasan Centre in Mriehel.
