A range of the entire latest Canon imaging technologies was recently showcased at the Digital Arts Expo held at the Portomaso Hilton Conference Centre. Attendees were invited to try out the full range of equipment on show from home photo printers to the latest specialised imagePROGRAF 8000S Professional Large Format Printer.
The state-of-the-art stand was a major attraction for all those visiting the Expo, from students to printing professionals. Many took the opportunity to bring their pen drives or CDs of photographs to make use of the variety of printers on show and view first hand the exceptional print quality of the machines.
With the recent independent research from analyst house InfoSource, confirming that Canon has once again maintained its position as the number one brand across Europe for its complete colour plus colour capable, and black-and-white portfolio of multifunctional printers for 2007, Avantech Limited also took this opportunity to host seminars relating to Canon small office multifunctional machines. Seminars were also held on large format print solutions and technologies. The speakers from Canon Europe – world leader in digital imaging technology – are all authorities in their relative fields and were in Malta specifically for this event.
Canon, with its distinctive ‘We speak image’ slogan, was the sponsor of the Creative Gallery Zone forming part of this expo. One hundred and fifty works of art of both local and foreign artists were displayed. All had been printed on the Canon Large Format Printers using complete Canon media.
